I started BAREFOOTPETS™ in 2008 as a blog to share very important pet care tips I’ve learned firsthand through my lifetime in pet rescue. My goal is, by sharing those insights with pet parents, to help them avoid some of the unfamiliar pitfalls that put our pets at risk, and ultimately to prevent their pets ending up abandoned in shelters or out on the streets later in life.
